Pre-shipment inspection of 40Cr alloy structural steel round bars from Yangtze Steel Group
Recently, Yangtze Steel Group is nearing completion of an order for 40Cr alloy structural steel round bars(prices), covering various specifications including φ50, φ90, φ100, φ110, φ115, φ120, φ130, and φ180. The products comply with the GB/T 3077-2015 standard. To ensure the products fully meet customer requirements, company leadership, accompanied by the project manager, visited the partner factory to conduct on-site pre-shipment inspections of this batch of round bars.
The inspection focuses on the following areas:
Specification Verification: Compare against the order list to randomly verify the diameter markings and fixed lengths of the round bars for each specification, ensuring the batch and quantity are accurate;
Material Confirmation: Examine the billet certificate of conformity and the steel stamp on the end face of the finished product to confirm that the steel grade is 40Cr and that the composition of the alloy structural steel meets the requirements of the GB/T 3077-2015 standard;
Surface Quality: Visually inspect the surface of the round bars for defects such as cracks, folds, or scale, ensuring a smooth appearance;
Straightness and Stacking: Observe the overall straightness of the round bars and the neatness of the stacking, confirming the absence of visible bending to facilitate subsequent processing and use.
Company executives were on-site to receive a progress report from the factory and reviewed and verified the quality records for the critical batch. Photographs taken during the visit accurately captured the product details and provided a panoramic view of the factory storage area.
Following a successful on-site inspection, this batch of 40Cr round bars will proceed to the packaging and shipping stages as scheduled. Yangtze Steel Group remains committed to upholding the quality of every ton of steel with the utmost rigor.
