Handan Steel's high-strength, high-toughness casing steel for shale gas wells fills a domestic market gap
Handan Iron & Steel, in collaboration with the Hebei Iron & Steel Materials Research Institute, has successfully developed and delivered in bulk the 1,000 MPa-grade high-strength, high-toughness SEW casing steel TG125, filling a gap in the domestic market for this type of steel used in shale gas wells.
