Global crude steel production in November 2025 decreased by 4.6% year-on-year.
According to the latest data released by the World Steel Association, crude steel production in November 2025 across 70 countries and regions included in the association's statistics reached 140.1 million tons, marking a year-on-year decrease of 4.6%.

The data submitted by the above 70 countries/regions represents 98% of global crude steel production in 2024. Countries and regions included in the table:

In November 2025, China's crude steel output reached 69.87 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 10.9%; India's crude steel output was 13.70 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 10.8%; the United States' crude steel output was 6.80 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 8.5%; Japan's crude steel output was 6.80 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.6%; Russia's estimated crude steel output was 5.20 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 6.6%; South Korea's crude steel output reached 5.0 million tons, down 4.8% year-on-year; Turkey's crude steel output reached 3.3 million tons, up 10.0% year-on-year; Germany's crude steel output reached 2.8 million tons, down 2.6% year-on-year; Brazil's crude steel output reached 2.8 million tons, up 0.7% year-on-year; Iran's crude steel output reached 3.4 million tons, up 9.2% year-on-year.
